Transfer/copy of files with "too deep" comment

I am currently trying to transfer/copy .biz files from a CD to another drive. I keep getting a message "cannot copy: the path is too deep". Can find no mention in any of the reference guides or help files about this subject or whether there is a file restriction on size. The file I am attempting to copy is 74,936 KB. Any advice welcomed.

I think it refers to the depth of the folder path but I am surprised that you hitting that limit

The ISO9660 CD format only allows a depth of 8 directories (folders) from the root, whereas the windows filesystem allows any depth (total length shorter than 260 characters).

I suspect this is the issue.

If it's a problem with the target I think you can create a share of a directory well down the path and map a drive to it to work round the problem.

If a tree fell in a forest on Schrodinger's Cat, would the cat be alive or dead? Cool
