PC Probe II

I have the PC Probe II software on my pc and when I activate it on start up an alarm goes off and the chassis fan indicator turns red. It says 960 rpm but after about two minutes it works itself up to 1000 rpm and the light turns green.

Is it something I should be concerned about or should I change a setting somewhere. My motherboard is an Asus A8N-SLI Premium.

Thanks

If you click the Config button on the bottom left of the display, then select Fan Speed Sensor Threshold, you can put the alarm threshold down to 900 and keep the alarm off unless it goes seriously slow.
The other fans are more important.

I notice I don't have a monitor for chassis fan speed at all.

I had a PC that I fitted with a Quiet PC flower cooler. The CPU ran nice and cool but I had to switch off the fan speed monitor as the fan was too slow!! To be on the safe side I set the BIOS to shut down the PC if the CPU got too hot.
