NAT

NAT stands for Network Address Translation and is a feature of a router that allows you to have one or more PCs on a local network using local network IPs (like 192.168.0.X), all sharing your internet connection. It also blocks incoming connection attempts to your PC so it sometimes referred to as a firewall as well.

Perhaps if you explain what problem(s) you are experiencing we may be able to help but at the moment you don't give any details. I also use a DG834 so can help with any config problems you may have.
