My new computer I am building

Hi I was wondering if this computer im building will work okay, I am looking
at spending a max of £450 ..

I will mainly be using it for the internet, and abit of word work etc .. but will
play games maybe 3 hours 3 times a week, will the below graphics card
work ok with Doom 3 (not that I will be playing it, just as an example)

I have a case, and 400w power supply not sure what amp it is .. I also have
a new 160GB hard disk to go in..

You might need around 450 watt 500 watt psu to power the amd 64 and the ati 9800 pro. If you aint build one before i would ask for help first

Note RE PSUs. DONT go for a 'Cheap' 500W PSU - The cheaper ones dont output the wattage they say!

I Know the ATI 9800 like a good PSU. Had to sort out someoned PC this week, he had built it himself Got a Cheap 500w PSU. Soon as the aTI drivers were load - PC could only just about run windows 2D graphics without crashing etc. Loading AquaMark - just crashed the PC.

Swapped the PSU for the one in my PC. - Wow not crashing and and run a FULL test of AquaMark.

There are sum cheap psu that will work ie ebyer 500 watt one. But if your gonna do it right get the best. Just hope it goes well for ya
