Linux + Duel Boot + Red Hat

Hi All,

I've recently installed a second hard drive, and installed the latest version of the red hat fedora core to this hard disk.

Luckly for me, my machine can easily choose which drive to boot from, so I installed the boot loader (Grub) straight to the second hard disk.

However Grub stalls during boot. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem?

I don't want to alter the MBR on the main windows disk, I've suffered before when doing this.

You can't .. you need the boot loader on the first HD's MBR. Another way is using a floppy boot disk.

Actually you can lol

I disconnected the first drive, installed Linux. Reconnected it, and now I can choose which OS I want, by pressing a key Smiley
