Internet Access from Office and Home

Hi there all,

I have set my Father-in-law up with a Plus.net account for his home, so that he can finally have internet there. I have also just provided him with a laptop so that he can use it at his buisness and at home.

Now, the tricky part. At work, he has a Wanadoo dial-up connection which works fine with the laptop / intergrated modem. At home he will have, (tomorrow when I go round to install it for him), a Netgear Wireless Broadband Router for access to Plus.net on ADSL.

I am trying to figure out how to get Outlook / IE to dial-up at the office, and use the wireless at home. He is 70, so it has to be easy, or I will be getting lots of "Computer Helpline" calls.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

If in IE you set the connection to dial only if there is no network you should get away with it tools/internet options/ conections.

These things have a habit of having bad days but it should work

mwright,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I will take a look at that, and see how it goes.
