I'm getting DOS'ed

Well, I think thats the term. Evil

All today I am getting reports from my router that shows this....

TCP Packet - Source:81.174.***.***,4137 Destination:81.174.***.***,139 - [DOS]

It is the same IP (that resolves to a Force9 username) and it is crawling through the port range.

Should I report this, should I send an email to the user, or should I just ignore it and hope that it goes away?

Advice welcome please....

Does the destination port always remain the same?

First instinct would suggest a virus infection.

Collate youe logs and submit them in a abuse ticket.

No, both the outgoing port and destination are different every time, it's only the IP that remains the same throughout.
