How to burn linux to disc?

I hope this aint a dumb question but it probably is.
I have downloaded a install image of Ubuntu Linux.
(ubuntu-5.04-install-i386.iso)
It is 586mb in size, I want to burn it to disc and install it.
In what format should it be burnt to disc in, by that I mean so it is a bootable CD and I can install from it.
I have Nero 6, the full program. Not express or demo.
Thanks

Just open up Nero and choose burn cd from image. You do not need to specify anything else.

Indeed, just burn the image.

Any boot data will be written accordingly. Only popping it in the drive after, will you know if it is bootable.

That worked just fine.
Now to give this Ubuntu Linux a spin.
I couldn't get on with Ferdora
There seemed to be a million options on every screen.
Thanks again

I'm still waiting for the Ubuntu latest CD (choosing not to download since they provide free CDs). Currently download SUSE 9.3 .. but I'm happy with my current Fedore Core 3 setup. Just wanted to have a fresh look on other Linux distributions. Fedora Core 4 is in the last phase right now and will be available for download within a month time. They only thing that I'm still stuck with FC3 is that I'm familiar with all the configuration on RH platform. Been using RH distribution for more than 10 years now...

Feel free to ask any Linux questions here. I guess there're few other Linux users lurking around.
