Hiya guys and gals :) What PC spec's you got?

I've too many PCs to list, something to do with rarely throwing anything away - case in point, just got rid of my Dual PII 266MHz system last year.

For the main though I use a system built a couple of months ago, it serves 99% of my needs - Software Development, 'Office' and occassional gaming.

  • Shuttle SD37P2
  • Intel “Conroe” Core 2 Duo E6700
  • 2GB (2×1GB) OCZ DDR2 PC2-4200 Gold GX XTC
  • 2 x Samsung 320GB SATA Hard drives
  • XFX GeForce 7600GS 256MB DDR2 DUAL DVI TV
  • LG GSA-H10NBAL 16x DVDRW/RAM Black Dual Layer/12x RAM/DVDRW

I run XP MCE 2005 as my OS, which pretty much covers all bases.

LOL, was gonna offer to give you a 17" CRT in sympathy for a while there.

You'd get two faster machines for that these days.....

Hiya guys and gals :) What PC spec's you got?

(You don't need to have sympathy with me...)

IBM ThinkPad T22
PentiumIII@900MHz 256MB
20GB Drive.

Does everything I need it to, and more... (I don't play action games)

'tis more than powerful enough to play DVDs & other multimedia content, and manages all my photos & other documents.

Makes virtually no noise, never gets hot & uses about 30W of power on average.

Runs Linux.

Paul.<><
