aye - got a dual boot on my system at home, x64 XP runs nicely on my 3200+ AMD CPU that I bought a year ago and been waiting ever since for MS to release the 64 bit XP

64bit XP is out this week, and the 64bit architecture is not a new thing. Everyone knew that longhord would take it like a year ago when AMD started shiping 64bit CPU's. Also 64bit has been around for over a decade on highend servers (itanium cpus)

its not 64bits / second either, its 64bits per cpu cycle which is in nanoseconds or picoseconds not seconds.
