OKAY!!

Mine has just died, so need a new set, and I know that certain types have had compatibility problems with the ADSL..

Could peeps please post what DECT phone they have and if they have had any probs with it regarding the adsl connection, many thanks,

well bt are out of the question, the ones that died were bt, and 13 months old, so no way am going back there

Actually these phones are our most relaible yet been through:

Binatone;
Vtech;
NTL

and probably more all died pretty quickly!

mmm.... interesting, ive had a couple of BT DECT phones for years and apart from replacing one set of batteries both have been great.

well have ordered those motorola ones, mail order catalogue, so any problems i can send them back, NTL phones look nice tho, thanks for all the feedback guys

Nah, don't go NTL. I know someone who has some, while they work, this person also has intermittent trouble with their BB.

ahh, ok right, thats taken on board, one thing I might do as well is do away with these filters and get the proper ADSL faceplate for the phone socket

Both the NTL and BT phones are manufacturered by a wide range of foreign companies and simply branded at BT / NTL. So they vary a lot.

I've always had BT dect phones of late, and they've always been really good.

As for ADSL problems, I thought this related mostly to the qualitity of the filters.
