Which operating system are you running on the PC?

Its most probs asking you for the LAN IP. Go to your 2nd PC and to to Start>Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt and type ipconfig.

That will see that PC's lan IP, like 192.168.0.2 etc

What ever that PC is, set the wireless PC's IP to say 192.168.0.10 something high so you'll get no conflicts, you can go upto x.x.x.255

But the wireless router if you have DHCP turned on will automatically generate the wireless PC's IP address anyway.

Yep, can't you just do this?
