Best DVB-S card for PC? Skystar2 1CI card?

Hi all

I am thinking about buying the Technisat Skystar2 card but has just discovered the Skystar2 1CI card (http://www.creativesatellite.co.uk/i...d=38730.330162).

Correct me if I am wrong, but I guess it means I could buy another Sky Viewing Card from Sky for £20 to watch encrypted channels, such as ITV2.

Also, I live in a fairly modern flat which has a sky connection in the living room, which I have my Sky DigiBox connected to, and a sky connection in the bedroom, which I am have still to test. Does this mean I can connect a Skystar2/Skystar2 1CI card or just another Sky DigiBox to view Sky? If so, would it work independently so I can change channels without affecting the Sky DigiBox in the living room?

I understand the Hauppauge HVR1000 PCI card is analogue & digital. It could be used to obtain Freeview channels (digital), but will it also provide Sky FTA (Free-To-Air) channels (analogue?)?

Many thanks
Scott
