BT ISDN- Line drops etc

I have a BT ISDN line. The normal modem works ok at 50k. The problem is with the 64k speed via the USB port. It connects ok but has two intemittant faults, It drops the line for no reason anywhere between 2 and 40 mins or it stays connected but wont communicate with the server.

Ive got the latest BT driver July 03 but no joy.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Bob

If this is the USB port directly on the side of the HH box, then this sounds like your problem.

I have in the recent few months, purchased a seperate PCI card for use with highway, due to the major issues experienced with the USB function.

These sound exactly the same as you describe, however, it was anything between 5 - 30 mins and was allmost a gurentee to happen.

Not directly related.. But I ran a Netgear RT 328 ISDN router for about three years, in three different locations, without ever experiencing the kind of drop outs you are experiencing. I now have ADSL... ooh.. pehaps I should flog the RT 328.. Quick.. over to the for sale board!

Hope you get your problem sorted.
