Doesn't sound good- what case do you have and what cooling do you use?

8800 gtx tempatures help

The temp is useless without stating what processor you have and its clock speed.

Is it overclocked?

What was the tempo before you fitted the graphics card?

64C is high for any processor anyway.

You're getting confused, he is talking about his GPU temperature not his CPU temperature.

The temps you are seeing are a little high but nothing really to worry about, these 8800GTX's can go up to 125'C. The stock coolers apparently are designed very good, you might want to look at the airflow inside your case instead.

What case do you currently have? and how many fans?

Another option is to remove the cooler and reseat it with some Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound, although this may only see a few degree drop. The downside, it voids the warranty and can be a tricky job for 1st timers.

This looks like a damn fine cooler, made by Thermalright. You can add a 92mm fan or run it passively for silence.

That is a very nice system you have there. I suspect some of the extra heat in your system is caused by those beefy Raptors.

Thermalright cooler
If you are going for the cooler above i suppose 'installation' type 1 would be better because if you attach a fan on there it would also cool the memory at the same time.

Try the driver 100.87 and use Rivatuner to make your card ALWAYS have its fan on a 100%.Should help the overheating

How about This thread on hot 8800's
