Ok so theres crappy speeds on plusnet's usenet service. What If I purchase a usenet service from another company like giganews, etc. Will I get better speeds?

I suspect that the limiter will be on your IP, and as it`s a limit on your whole account any information Downloaded will be monitored/limited, no matter if it is internal (plusnet), or external (other source), so they cap all traffic to you except what they want.

Its not just speed as an issue, completion on the servers has started to deteriorate over the last few months and they are becoming unusable. I suspect this is intentional and will help "shape" the plus.net customer base.

By using an external usenet provider you will at least get full completion although slowly Wink

We are aware of problems with the usenet platform we provide and are working to resolve this as swiftly as possible.
