telephone system question

I'm providing support for this company and wish to know if there is any route through the IVR that lets me speak to someone.

i'd rather hold an to speak to someone as it's a simple yes/no answer involving their radius logs for this client so waiting for a question response or callback seems daft.

how long do you normally wait for a callback? Can i actually get through?

I don't know if it works with the +Net system, but a lot of them you can fool into passing you to an operator by pressing #'s or *'s instead of the numbers. The system eventually gives up and passes you over.

Alternatively don't press anything, it should put you straight into the cue (I think they still have to make allowances for people on pulse dialing phones)

I have come across companies that use speech recognition (and not very good at that either), if you don't give any input you end up speaking to an automated system anyway. Not sure if F9 is set up like that though.
