stable rate

ever since beeing maxed a couple of months ago my stable rate has been 8000 and router has always connected at 8128 without any problems at all. Today my stable rate is 2000 and download speeds are for 2mbit connection, whats that all about ? Router is still connected at 8128 btw.

about a week or more ago we did have thunder & lightning, my snr and attenuation are still the same as when i was first maxed.

BTw recently introduced a new gizmo known as "Blip Logic". Maybe this could have something to do with your problem. Have a look here for full details. There's a bit at the bottom about thunder storms.

If your stay connected at +8000 for the next 3 days and your stable rate does not increase ... raise a ticket as your BRAS setting is stuck, this is likely to be a BT problem but as you know only PN can get them to do anything ADSL related on your line.

It seems *more* people are having this problem despite this being some PN claimed has been worked on with BT.
