speed usage notice

from pn own portal my usage and speeds. As you can see i am well below 4gb per month and the earlier months average speeds were 927kbps to..............98kbps now.Apparently i am expect to take less so as payg and premier can zoom around the internet whilst i slither and wait for 7 hours for a 215kb file to download.I have requested a mac code and am lucky enough to have migrated in therefore dont have charges and when they want their months notice payment i shall tell them Dont be sily didnt you know that when i signed up expecting 4gb and 8mb speed and didnt get it because you gave it to the higher paying users then you should have know that only the higher users would pay the months notice fee....silly pn

With reference to the BT speedtester, try the following username format <PN username>@plusdsl.net

Let me know if you have any luck with that.

Hi,

It looks like your line is sync'd at 320kbps, because of this BT have set your throughput speed to 135kbps which is why you are seeing the speeds you are seeing in the speedtest.

Something between your equipment and your local exchange is causing your sync speed to reduce. Looking at your speed history it seems to be dropping down quite regularly and then going back up to around 6Mbps over the last 2 months or so.

To within about an hour the most recent decreases happened around

05/02/2007 19:30:16
29/01/2007 23:46:02
26/01/2007 18:49:55
19/01/2007 10:24:46
01/01/2007 12:41:07

Do these times tie in with anything that could be causing interference? Something like central heating or some kind of lighting or a microwave or anything else like that, or maybe making/receiving a call or sending a/receiving a fax?

I'd also suggest to take a look through this to see if anything helps:

No, so how to i get the sync speed up ?as i have had bb for around 4 years and do not want dial up speeds i am recieving at the moment.?
All i want is 4gb, and a reasenable speed. If i reach 4gb then by all means slow me down to the snails pace i am getting at the moment as i am paying for this service is it so much to ask for?
