My broadband connection has recently become very poor (since April) with drop outs almost every10-15 minutes. I work from home, and require the internet all day. Is this the result of the 8mg upgrade, did I understand the 8mg upgrade expalination properly... something like "however, If your line can not handle speeds of up to 8meg your connection will suffer and as a result the changes can not be reversed", surely not??

So, by implication, for sometime you had a stable/reliable connection and now it has become unreliable on some date in April. Yes?
Please connect your modem/router to the master socket, this is behind the faceplate on the BT socket that brings your phone line into the house. Does this help? Is the problem intermittant, or just at night or in the mornings?
