php undefined function imap_open

Any thoughts to why I'm getting this meaasge:

Call to undefined function: imap_open()

It has been part of PHP since version 3. Has this function been disabled?

Hi there,

If I recall correctly this function is not enabled, however for the definitive answer I would suggest you raise a ticket so your request can be forwarded to the networks team.

RE: php undefined function imap_open

in case anyone is interested.

imap support is currently not compiled into PHP, this will be available on the new CGI platform which is being rolled out over the next week or so. Announcements will be made via the usual channels as to the exact dates.
