Hi,

With the account type that you have you can logon to USENET with the host address: usenet.plus.net

You will then have unrestricted access to around 60000 newsgroups.

Information with regards to setting up your software available here:

http://www.plus.net/supportpages.html?TwJqmgyD4Hg%3D

Best Regards,

Dave.

I can log onto them but all the files are part files hardly any full ones yet on other peoples services they are full hence they are restricted! What I want is the full files that a true unrestricted service would offer

Hi,

This is related to the nature of Usenet. What non outsourced UK ISPs have you seen that offer a comparibly better news feed? It is actually technically impossible for anyone to achieve a "Full" feed, although some of the best paid services do achieve 98% completeness. We republish all articles that are received from our peers...

Binary Usenet is the single most resource intensive (And probably among the least used) of just about all ISP services. We are working (And have a plan in place) to improve our own binary feed, but we do recommend that customers wanting a more complete binary feed should look at using a subscription news service (ie www.easynews.com) to suppliment the PlusNet feed. There are many Usenet clients available that are designed with this purpose in mind.
