Hi lecro

You are more likely to get a response from pn when it isnt quite so late! Wink

You could phone 0845 140 0200, but waiting times for calls are not to good at the moment. There is a plan in place to improve this soon we are told.

lostboyuk, thats not really very constructive of you! "How very dare you"? lol

I seem to recall that you could only sign up through the web... that would mean something like:
a. Get a modem and connect through a dial-up connection
b. Go to a library, internet cafe, or go round to your house and sign-up from there

For a., I should have added that you can dial-up using the PN number 0845 1400101 and using signup for username and password.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE GUYS.
Just don't.
I wouldn't like to recommend anyone else in particular, just don't sign up with Plus Net. I think many of the posts in this forum (some of them mine) will explain why.

There is nothing to stop you creating an account for them from your own connection.
I do it quite often for my referals.
Just connect to the portal but dont log on as you, then create a free dialup account giving their details and phone number.

If they then wish they can then have it upgraded to broadband in the future.

Hope that helps.

Just to add - they can also upgrade to broadband using your connection providing that they login using the new username - I did that for my last setup.
Just to note - it all went very smoothly with no problems whatsoever
