my usage

my usage shows 240mb of broadband phonecalls.

any ideas how this got there given that i have no idea what this is ?

do you think they are confused with the 240mins of waiting i have done on their support phone line this month?

Maybe it's a hint; they're saying you'd have had a better experience by VOIP'ing a friend on a decent network to read the internet to you.

It relates to a system called VOIP, (Voice Over IP) which basically means you can use your PC as a telephone to make calls over the internet.

the thing is - i dont have voip and as far as i know there is no special batphone attached to my pc - i cant make calls but myusage says different?

If I'm to believe my usage record, I used 740kb last month on Broadband phone calls. To date this month I've used 197kb! Of course I don't have a broadband phone, and wouldn't know how to set one up if I had.

Cue someone to drop by and enlighten us with talk about "network noise" etc.

But please keep posting ... I thoroughly enjoy your comments. You've got to see the funny side here, otherwise you'd despair and get carted off to the funny farm. Smiley

Fabulous! There we go again ... more "noise". I'm convinced "barkerfamily" is solely responsible, impatiently kicking the bucket during that long wait on the phone on Wed evening (see please call back later) .. no doubt the resulting noise travelled down his router and got logged onto your account!
