Does this work:?

Double click system tray icon which opens the voyager control panel

Press control + f1 (together) this enables the hidden features.

That particular modem appears to be sensitive to poor lines and prone to dropping out if your line figures are bad, so I gather.

Ctrl + F1 doesn't enable any hidden features for me.

As Geof said "control + f1" And as shark50 said do this on the "status" tab.
I think you will find that you also need to be using an "admin" account for this to work!

If you double click the little icon of the two arrows (up and down) then click the status button you should see the grey box like the one to the left of the below picture.

If you then hold down CTRL whilst hitting F1 you should see something like the box to the right of the grey one..

my friend's line attenuation is 58db, his 2mb premier keeps dropping in the evening, plus, net reduced speed to 1mb last night and work perfectly since. what sort of reasons he get high line attenuation? he lives 3KM from his local exchange (sam knows)

thanks again

Its surprising that his line only dropped occasionally with that attenuation on 2MB, the spec for 2Mb is 43db, BT quote 60db max for 1Mb so he is only just in spec for that.

He may only live 3Km from the exchange but his actual line may be routed anywhere before it gets to him, and the longer the line the higher the attenuation
