frequent disconnections

Hi,

Recently I have started getting frequent disconnections of my broadband connection. Im including the trace from my router. Any ideas what can be causing it? I tried replacing the router with another and got the same results.

Thanks.

(NOTE: Ive XXX'ed out my IP address)

Never mind - looks like the router was set to adsl2 - changing it back to normal adsl seems to have stopped the disconnects.

Hmmm - well looks like it is still there - just less frequent. Currently the modem is configured to use ADSL_G.dmt

Any ideas?

Thanks

frequent disconnections

Do you know if it's always losing sync when the connection drops or if it just drops PPP? If it is losing sync then this is worth a read:
