email is 'half-fixed' ??!

I know there's several other threads on the current email problems - just posting this in case it's of any diagnostic use to +net's engineers ?

I have a UK domain - email from there is re-directed to my +net email.

Just now (6am) sending 2 messages - one direct to my +net email address, and the other to my domain - resulted in the domain-redirected getting delivered in seconds - while I'm still waiting minutes later for the 'direct' email to put in an appearance....

IS this symptomatic of something ? - (other than the general weirdness that is +net email !!)

Couldn't help laughing - signed up with googlemail - and the first 'introductory' email you get from the FREE SERVICE (are you listening plusnet ??) says

"Googlemail is different"

And you know what the difference is ??
It actually gets delivered !
What a novelty......

Now my email is getting through to my googlemail account - I'm being told that, over the past few days, email sent to my plusnet account has been bouncing -

with the following type of error message

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
