anyone know of a reliable way to contact them ?

I'm hoping for a route through the phone system that leads to a person

as we all know +net are a bit of a shambles at the moment, so in a moment of madness I signed up with TOUCAN. I have since discovered they are a Tiscali reseller and a bigger shambles, I specifically told them (as I have with +net) that I want nothing whatsoever to do with Tiscali in any guise.

so, I am trying every avenue to ensure this transfer does not take place, TOUCAN can't let me cancel yet as I'm "not in the system yet" so I want to talk to +net, explain it all and hope they can stop the transfer.

I'm stuck now as I can't find a way through the phone system to a real person.

If it's done via a MAC code and you've supplied it to the new provider, PlusNet can't stop it. If the new company is ceasing and reproviding your line (i.e. for LLU etc) I don't think PlusNet can stop that either.

thanks Ivy, just had a nice chat with a CS rep who phoned me and basically TOUCAN can't get me unless they get the phone as well, on to BT tomorrow

(and try to get hold of someone who knows something at TOUCAN)

oh, nice to see some CS presence here again Smiley

oh, for anyone else:

TOUCAN claim they could migrate me without a MAC code
My exchange is not LLUed by anyone yet
They might be able to get me as I agreed to them taking over the phone too - hopefully I can stop that too

So is it impossible to get through to phone support?
I've tried about 5 times now tonight, trying to take the right route, but they all lead to automated shit.

God, i'd love to work for Plusnet customer support. I'd just sit back and chill...
