contention rather than FUP

hmm whats going on here im very confused now. i recently upgraded from 29.99 1mb premier package to 29.99 50gb FUP with an upgrade fee of 14.99. how will i be effected by this new product range of contention ratio rather than FUP. i paid 14.99 to jump the que and now this seems to not be takeing place. will i still keep my 2mb broadband and get a contention ratio of 30:1 rather than 50:1 ? can someone enlighten me

thanks

At the moment nobody is very sure of what is going on.

This is what I think will happen.

You will continue to receive 2Mb broadband, but will be able to downgrade to £21.99 package free of charge from April 28th.

At the moment it seems you have no need to. The FUP has been scrapped. So it's £21.99 for an unmetered 2Mb connection. Plusnet don't seem to want to release any more information than this about products just yet.

See this thread for info.

If you really want just send PN the 21.99 and me the other 8 and then we'll both be happy ;-)
