Just following on from Bob Pullens post on 25/1/07 I am now not seeing my homepage on my php site. Could someone try www.djshift.co.uk and let me know if you get a blank page with "Done" on the status bar. That's what I am getting and need to check if it is my PC or Plus that's causing my site not to display. I know there are speed issues to be resolved but I am not seeing my site at all... it should default to news.php.
Thanks and any info to help would be great...

Anyone got a plusnet cgi hosted site I could try ? I've just been on to another php site that I run hosted elsewhere with no problems. I can't understand why my plusnet homepage is blank to me...weird..

Have you checked if the DNS lookup is working correctly? You should get

C:\Documents and Settings\John>nslookup www.djshift.co.uk

Server: ptn-cdns02.plus.net
Address: 212.159.6.10

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: ccgi.plus.net
Address: 84.92.1.4
Aliases: www.djshift.co.uk

It's not showing a "server" where you see ptn-cdns02.plus.net. Everything else look ok.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache or a different browser?

Cleared the cache and have tried the same browser but on a different laptop. I am wondering if somehow it is my connection / user id that is being affected as you all seem to have no problems accessing my site... I've logged a call with the PN techies so I'll see what they come back with tomorrow.. I don't really want to have to install the whole CMS again just so I can see it !
...and I missed out on the beers tonight too Sad
thanks all...

Ah...I'm getting somewhere... just used my mum's account and the site is dsiplayed, so it is definitely something to do with my account. Gonna check my e107 content management to work this out in case it is inherent to that. Perhaps I've disabled my user in Plusnet CGI somehow...
