Wrong date on forum?

Why do I see dates on messages on this forum 4 or 5 days ahead of the true date? (the date & time on my pc is correct). Not a major problem I know, just irritating! (or is it just me?)

Wrong date on forum?

You need to set the date in your "Profile" to get it correct.
Set it to GMT +1

Wrong date on forum?

Done that, seems ok now, I can see why the time was wrong but not the date (by about 3 days!)

Wrong date on forum?

Just one of the mysteries of the phpBB software I guess. Sad
In theory you can only have it out by 12 hours which is all that settings allow But I have seen this happen before so it's not just you. Smiley

The phpBB software stores a time offset value, as per the profile settings.

The problem is, if this is a very large number, it can and will adjust the time beyond 24 hours.

In this case, adding somthing like 96 to 120 hours to the current server time.

The list of times in the profile, and covers a 24 hour period though (+12 and -12 from GMT), so is unable to display what the current incorrect offset is.
