What's happened to free overnight on PAYG?

I was billed yesterday. I've just looked at VMBU and for today it's already showing 378.07KB.

Is the free usage between midnight and 8am actually in place yet?

As I understand it, the free overnight use for PAYG customers in part of the new product portfolio, and will be enabled when you are switched to the new product.

This should be on your next billing date after now.

It was supposed to be the next billing date after 31st March, but their timescale slipped.

What's happened to free overnight on PAYG?

We were told that the first users to be switched would be on the 3rd April - I was billed yesterday.

I set up a new newsreader last night and left it downloading headers on a number of groups overnight. It's now showing nearly 1GB - if I run out towrds the end of the month I'm going to be very upset.

Yes, that was the latest thing we were told, but with the original date slipping, I wasn't too sure whether that date had slipped as well.
I haven't seen any confirmation that the switching to new products has started yet though.

If I were you, I'd raise a ticket and ask, or raise a new post asking the specific question - when did the transfers start and have I therefore been transferred? - and hope for a Plusnet reply before making the assumption.

Pity, you shouldn't have to do these things.

What's happened to free overnight on PAYG?

I've asked about this in another thread in this forum here.

I raised a ticket yesterday asking about this - no response.

I've raised another ticket this morning saying VMBU has recorded overnight usage incorrectly.

I have now just taken a step that I know will get a response - posted on ADSLGuide - it's pathetic that we have to do that!

As far as I know people were getting changed over yesterday however PN were very quiet on upgrade front yesterday so I don't know, if you have a look at your tickets then you should have a Service Notice saying Bandwidth usage reset and something along the lines of Component changed from PlusTalk PAYG to PlusTalk 240, if not then you most likely haven't been upgraded.

I've also heard of people who haven't been through the force disconnection meaning your connection is still technically on the old product which could account for the over night dl's beeing included in VMBU!

What's happened to free overnight on PAYG?

Correct me if I'm wrong but PAYG 10GB always came with evening and weekend calls thus the PAYG component wouldn't be changed?

What's happened to free overnight on PAYG?

PAYG customers who were billed yesterday will not be charged for usage between midnight and 8am. We are investigating some issues with VMBU and will have an update on this shortly.

Apologies for the delay in replying, I've only just got into the office and wanted to confirm the information before I responded.

I am on PAYG 10Gb and had the same concern.

Mand answered in another thread that PAYG 10Gb customers will get the free overnight usage and the PlusTalk component would not be changed.
