Voyager modem causing crashes

My modem has a tendency to cause the computer to crash. It displays a BUGCODE_USB_MODEM message or something like that. I went looking on BT's site to see if there are any fixes for it there, but see nothing.

Anyone have any suggestions?

i would first uninstall then re-install the modem, using add/remove programs, if no joy there look for any windows updates. which version of windows are you using? the other thing people have had problems with USB modems is power supply to USB connections although i think that was more to do with the connection freezing or being dropped

I'll try that. Have to find the CD first, so it could take quite some time.

I'm using Windows XP Home edition. I don't think there are any fixes at Microsoft. The modem is the Voyager 105, which I failed to mention earlier.
