... you get a nasty email!

PlusNet have 2 systems ... one that generates the nasty emails, and one that generates the VMU gizzmo that you and I can access.

The one that generate the nasty emails always works, the one that generate the visible VMU does not.........


Haven't got a clue as to why they are not combined .....

Mine isn't working either. I am concerned about this as I have had 2 warnings for being over 40 hours (41.2) both times.

It isn't really good enough to penalise cutomers with emails about their usage, as when they go to look at it, either its not working or it's way behind and doesnt reflect the true usage.

Is there a timer that we can download that Plusnet will endorse - ie trust as a second usage counter seeing as theirs doesnt work.

Now I dont have a cluse what I have left this weekend and if I go over my quota I wont be very happy as I dont plan to go over for the third time for obvious reasons.

BTW - I would rather Plusnet take it over 4 weeks so it averages out and when it gets to 160, the connection is blocked until the next period. This would stop over usage, surely be cheaper for Plusnet then and also satisfy customers who may have a pattern of usage or (example) 23, 35, 41, 42 = 141, 19 hours less than the fair deal thing.

Perhaps this could go into the suggestion box?
