VMU Problem?

Just checked ny usage from 8am-8.30 and it's showing as 11mb already.
I did some downloading pre 8:00am and then stopped at 8am.
Looks like there's been a spill over into Peak Time.
I should be showing about 3-4mb since 8am.
Hope this is an isolated incident and it's not happening all the time.

VMU Problem?

If you read the sticky at the top of this forum, it says that there are still a few problems with the new VMBU and it has not been released yet. The old one will still show all your usage.

If you have passed your billing date, and been transfered to the new products then this will sort itself out towards the end of the week.

VMU Problem?

My billing date isn't until the 23rd so nearly 3 weeks until I reach it.
Will keep an eye on it as usage is quite precious!!
I take it that I still have 5gb this month then will have 3gb from 23rdHuh
Would hate me to reach 3gb then go over and be "speed shaped" especially with time off work and Easter coming up Smiley

VMU Problem?

Since moving to the new VMU last weekend, I have been monitoring the supposed usage allocated. The new VMU shows separate data for 8am - 4pm and 4pm - midnight. All this week I have powered of all computers at 7.30am and not returned until 5.30pm. The only thing powered was my netgear router (wireless disabled). The 8am - 4pm usage yesterday showed 965Kb of data transfer. This seems a massive amount of data to be transferred from just an idle router!!

Similarly, last night I logged my data transfer at 10.30pm and switched off. This morning the VMU shows a further 9Mb used from 10.30pm to midnight.

Either the VMU is seriously time shifted or it falsely allocates usage to accounts.

VMU Problem?

Don't forget the viruses, port probes etc that don't get past the router.
