What does XBox 360 downloads come under?

My stats for this month are -

Peak Web 7.19GB
Peak Email 84.91MB
Peak Broadband phonecalls 449.88KB
Peak Gaming 33.55MB
Peak Streaming 29.59MB
Peak PlusNet FTP 8.15KB
Peak Peer-to-peer 2.7MB
Peak Usenet 0KB
Peak FTP (non PlusNet) 43.78MB
Peak Other 6.03MB
Peak Total - 7.39GB

Off peak Web 7.56GB
Off peak Email 228.57MB
Off peak Broadband phonecalls 528.04KB
Off peak Gaming 83.11MB
Off peak Streaming 11.44MB
Off peak Peak PlusNet FTP 1.54MB
Off peak Peer-to-peer 342.88MB
Off Peak Usenet 136.15MB
Off Peak FTP (non PlusNet) 56.76MB
Off Peak Other 15.12MB
Off Peak - 8.44GB

I know that pretty high but I did download a few game demo's this month.

But P2P and Usenet have high figures and I use neither of these, nor Phone calls but thats small it doesn't really matter.

So I'm guessing 360 downloads go into the "Web" category, but shouldn't they be in gaming?

It looks like Ellacoya is classifying it as web traffic.

Tell her to stop it then and put it in the right place, It's making me think my children are downloading strange things -

Well, technically it's not actually gaming traffic Smiley I reckon that if you think about it, it's probably a logical classification.

Cheesy - I did think about it, and came to the conclusion that the 360 is a gaming machine, so anything that goes on it must be game orientated which would therefore mean it's gaming traffic - Wink

I reckon we could argue it both ways Smiley

We could, but in the end it's you who will win because I can't change the Ellacoya settings - Cry

Similar problem here:

Broadband phonecalls (peak, off peak and total respectively) 91.06MB - 140.45MB - 231.52MB

Haven't made any internet calls at all this month. Is this just an error with the classification as mentioned above?

Do you use a reasonable amount of gaming/P2P? Because both can run off a large number of ports, the traffic can be misplaced.

The usage amounts you'll see are a guideline rater than exact matter of fact.
