VMBU Problem

Hi.

I have just checked to see what my usage has been for the last couple of weeks, and have discovered that I have downloaded 0KB since Tuesday 20th! I wonder if I am getting some special treatment, or there is just a glitch. I am on BB+

Just checked my VMBU and it's the other way.

When IS the VMBU going to be sorted outHuh
It's getting on for a whole year in being inaccurate. Evil

VMBU Problem

How wrong is it and is that just for today or over a longer period? Is it the total that's wrong or the split between different protocols?

VMBU Problem

I'd estimate around being 50mb too high for Tuesday 27th off peak.
The total is wrong. It happens now and again.

Here is from 22nd onwards

Web 497.93MB
Email 2.02MB
Broadband phonecalls 4.44KB ----Don't do
Gaming 113.63KB ------Don't do
Streaming 11.73KB ----Huh
PlusNet FTP 0KB
Peer-to-peer 878.16KB ----Don't do
Usenet 0KB 0KB 0KB
FTP (non PlusNet) 1.44MB ----Huh
Other 2.74MB ----Huh?
Total usage so far 505.14MB

Please explain.

Sometimes some traffic is incorrectly marked by the Ellacoya's and as such, you may see some rogue usage. This is not a major issue.

Regarding your usage being about 50MB out, can you justify this? I know I would have no way of proving that it was caused by any background traffic hitting my connection.

VMBU Problem

This week's usage taken from VMBU

Mon 26
Tue 27

Peak Monday 38.75MB Tuesday 103.57MB

Actual usage in Peak Time was very similar on both days yet there is a big difference.

I don't think you can realistically use that to justify there being a problem. Try downloading something like DUMeter and keep an eye on the usage it reports on a day by day basis and see if there is much in a way of discrepancies.

VMBU Problem

Ok but I still think it's wrong.
Have downloaded DU Meter and will check it in peak time.
I take it that I should set it up for both downloads and uploads?

Good stuff.

I hope you don't think I'm trying to sweep this under the carpet. I'm not. If there is a problem here we will definitely look into it. It just a case of proving whether or not it is actually a problem.

VMBU Problem

The thing is James, it's not the first time it's happened.
I've let inaccuracies in the past go.Reading here about other people having the same problem, has made me want to check it properly now.
On another point when do the February refunds get processed? (I'm on BB+)
Still waiting for a proper reply from Plusnet on my ticket ID: 2140158 opened over a month ago

I think I've mentioned this a few times before, but we should have these done on or by March 31st.

Ok fair enough.
Would have ben nice to have a proper reply on the ticket to that effect though.
Seems like the only place to get things done is on the forum!
