Usenet misbehaving

Anybody else having problems with usenet? I think it's broken, but service status says it's fine.

What's the fastest way to point this problem out to PN given that they are apparently unaware of it?

Hi there,

We haven't seen any specific reports of Usenet woes.

What problem are you referring to specifically? Any error messages?

Sheesh, and again, you like to live dangerously don't you
Is there any record of a PN staffer being banned by a Mod for repeatedly breaking the rules?

Anyhow, I'll be getting a slap for going OT too. Shockedops:

Re: Usenet misbehaving

My news program hasn't seen any new messages today, which is obviously wrong. I can post, but can't see any new stuff.

It's more obvious if you go through the PN USENET web service - currently plusnet.service.customer-feedback isn't showing anything newer than 25 August, although this is intermittent.

Usenet misbehaving

Right, thanks.

I've just checked mine, I'm using text.usenet.plus.net btw.

I'm managing to retrieve all messages, most recent from about 5 minutes ago.

I'll be happy for it to be investigated as a service issue, but will need other people to see the problem initially. If you can, it wouldn't hurt trying a different client and/or try resubscribing to all of your newsgroups, or deleting and resetting up your account.

The problem I'm referring to can easily be seen via your own web pages - did you try the url I gave?

I also have a problem. Nothing new being shown at all and lots of "expired" messages. I have been using usenet.plus.net

I checked around noon, and had he same issue as the OP. checked now, and they're looking up-to-date.
Perhaps its fixed itself, or perhaps I also experienced an intermittant fault?
I'll keep checking.

Appears to be working at the moment. Did anybody change anything?
Does anybody know what was going wrong? (Does anybody believe that something was going wrong?)

Oh, no, broken again.

James Bailey - did you try the URL I suggested?

Usenet misbehaving

I've just checked all 4 readers and all seem up to date. reader01 doesn't go back as far as the others, but that's not an issue. I will keep an eye on it though as there is, or at least something up.

The link seems OK too, showing the same latest post as below.
