Usage limit and poor connections

Hi: I don't usually use this sort of thing but frustration has got the better of me.
I had an email from PN a few weeks ago advising me that my usage limit had been increased from 3 to 4gig. As far as I was aware i've never had a limit on my account.
I've also had many problems connecting my broadband. It oftem takes 10 or 12 attemps to connect and then its unreliable. This has been going on for months.
I've tried ringing but get fed up waiting to get an answer and I can't find a way to submit a question on line. So much for the HELP centre.
Has anyone had the same problems and have you any advise.
