Put in for a cease and reprovide Tuesday 15th Mar (moving house) and was told this would take place 22nd Mar. Posted on the ticket that an earlier date would be preferred if possible and had two posts by P&F DSL folk, neither of which actually did anything.

Chased it and only heard by e-mail yesterday that the cease and reprovide orders had been put in place and that my new connection will be up by the 4th April, best part of three weeks after I put in the request.

On the whole I've been happy with plusnet, but really I can't see any reason for it taking 9 days to put in an order to BT, most unhappy (tis a good job i have a lot of DIY to get on with in the new house...)

Nope, one reason for getting a new number was because i reckoned this would speed up the process...(read somewhere that keeping your existing number would take upto 14days).

Hi,

I'm sorry this has taken longer than expected to process, looking at the ticket there has been some delays and backlogs on both our's and BT's side.

It's now in the system so hopefully won't be much longer.
