Trying to get default account blackholed...

Hi!

Could someone from comms intervene please...I seem to be having a challenge with CSC and getting my default account blackholed...

Hi,

Unfortunately at the moment it isn't possible to blackhole the username@username email address. This is a limitation of the mail platform. The plan is to change this shortly with some of the things that Bob announced last week here:

Hi Dave,

Is this a limit which came in with Squirrel Mail? I've not been on the forums for a few months...

My other account was blackholed before that and works perfectly.

Could you also ask CSC to read the Question. They have yet again turned off the catchall - I don't want that !!

Trying to get default account blackholed...

It is now (as of today) possible to rename the default mailbox here by going to "Manage My Mail" and clicking "rename" next to the default mailbox. If your catch-all is switched off this will mean that you will not receive mail addressed to username@username.plus.com

The postmaster alias can also now be pointed at another mailbox, removing the need to check the default mailbox if no longer used.
