As requested I've disconnected and reconnected every day since my throughput dropped to 512kbs last week. it hasn't changed - I've just run the BT speed test and again I get the following result..
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 1792 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 0 kbps
Since they can't even monitor my throughput when doing a speed test how can their system modify my speed correctly - you had to manually move my bras down when I told you it didn't match my real throughput - can someone look at this and sort it out?
PS According to my router the lowest I've synched at over teh last week is 1750 and ther have been no line drops
