Stuck on 2meg ... No-one listening!

I was upgraded from a fixed line to MaxDSL about 6 weeks ago. I am vey close to exchange, sync at 8128 but BT Speedtest shows IP Profile at 2000, therefore I never get above about 1.9meg in any speedtest.

I was advised to raise a ticket. I have done this twice but each time got nowhere.

My last attempt sounded promising. I was told "it was passed to BT to generate a delta report for you and reset your line profile accordingly."

I have now been told to retest and that "BT have tested the line and were unable to find any fault on the service."

The speedtest still says that the profile is 2000

Arrrghhhh !!! I thought this was going to be a simple job for someone just to chnage some setting somewhere.

Why would I sync at 8128 if my limit was only 2000?

Any idea what I can do now?

The fault's back with BT, not sure why they didn't correct the IP profile when we first raised it, but it should be back with them to get it sorted.

Are you still having a problem with this? As BT have now closed the fault advising that it has been resolved.

Please let me know if the problem is still occuring.
