Streaming Video Question!

My download speeds are are usually excellent on all protocols including usenet and p2p, and my latest speedtest on bbmax is:

Download Speed: 5846 kbps (730.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 364 kbps (45.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

My question is are certain sites specifically VEOH targeted for extreme throttling during the peak hours as I find it almost impossible to watch streaming videos at peak times.
No problem at off peak times!

Thanks

Streaming Video Question!

What account are you on?

Do you have a link to a file others can test for comparison?

Streaming Video Question!

I am on PAYG my line is 2.5Mb on MaxDSL.

Clicking on the link you provided opened a new window and pretty much immediately started playing the video ... good.

The progress bar, you see the 3 colour bar where Blue shows how far you have watched out of the total 20min video, the black bar shows how much of the 20min video has downloaded and you should hope the blue bar never catches the black bar, well it did for me after 3 mins of viewing. The downloading then stopped. No more video. Not sure this is a PN issue of whether Veoh is just overloaded at this time of day. Sad
