Staying in sync but LCP up and Down (Revisted)

Hi,

I've not seen any other reports but will keep a look out. With the times of day it's happening it could be BT Maintenance work, there's always rounds of maintenance work going on, almost always between midnight and 7am.

The one at 3am I thought might have been related to the BTW maintenace, but I gather than was cancelled?

The 11am one, I can't explain.

Also (as I've mentioned before), for 4 days I had very poor internet access when the router would remain connected but after a few minutes not be able to send/receive data to the PN gateways. I was beginning to suspect hardware when this problem vanished. (see https://portal.plus.net/central/forums/viewtopic.php?t=36628 and http://portal.plus.net/central/forums/viewtopic.php?p=255054#255054). I don't know if these are both symptoms of the same problem?

Staying in sync but LCP up and Down (Revisted)

Just found this page over on Metronet (http://www.metronet.co.uk/adsl/exchangeChecker) from which I gather there was a problem at Reading which might have been responsible for the 11am blip this morning.

Staying in sync but LCP up and Down (Revisted)

Hi Matthew,

I can explain both of those, there was some maintenance this morning between 3am and 6am at your exchange and there was an MSO in Reading around 11am.
