Squirrel burying things in two places instead of one

Just checked webmail for all addresses this morning and discover that Squirrel is not just putting emails marked [-SPAM-] in the Spam folders but also in the Trash folders - noticed the Trash folders had 'Purge' beside them even though I'd emptied them last time.

Looks like it's been happening for a few days. (Not that it really matters as it means they don't get downloaded in either case.)

Squirrel burying things in two places instead of one

Just checked and it looks as though selecting delete only puts it in the trash folder.
I can't find an option for auto deleting from trash when I log out

Oh, I see what you mean! Thanks for pointing this out!

Have just experimented and, yes, stuff from the Spam folder gets moved to the Trash folder when you delete it, just like anything from the main Inbox. Hadn't realised that; just assumed Spam got properly deleted like Trash. Ha! That explains what I found this morning.

So, the only way of deleting the stuff completely, if you don't want pages and pages of spam building up over the 30 days or whatever time it is before it goes, is to put it all into Trash and then either delete manually or click on Purge.
