Speed up - speed down - speed up - speed down.........

posted here a while ago to say my speed was about 3-400 kbps and a PN person looked at some setting at PN and miraculously 'tweaked' something and it shot up to 1450 kbps. and it lasted for about a week, and of course I got my hopes up and then bang, back down, not as low as before but 900 kbps. IS THIS NORMALHuh I am going to change to BT Homehub as all my neighbours who have it get much better speeds than us, whats to lose?? I'm on Premier option 1.

Hi,

Looking at the BT speed history for your line it's showing that the speed is around 1Mbps and has been since April. As such it's likely that this is the fastest your line can support.

It may be worth taking a look through this to see if anything helps:

as incorrect wiring and filters can easily cause a reduction in speed.
