Speed Question ?

I have run a few BT speed tests (results below) and also each time I ran plusnets speed test for comprison. I also ran other speed tests around the same time and all roughly agreed with the plusnet tests results.

After reading James' sticky above , especially the part about the BT speed test NOT going through Plusnets servers, would I be right in thinking my speed issue is not BT related but down to Plusnets servers ?

BTW I have tickets raised for this , am interested in others opinions.

Hi Andy,

Firstly, I need to amend my sticky as phase 1 of the new BT Speedtest, doesn't actually test against the exchange. Also, the PlusNet speed checker is rather shoddy - we have a new one coming soon. Try this one instead:

I did use that one too and it roughly agreed with the plusnet one ...
