Slow speed and upgrades

Hello,

I've been having serious HTTP speed issues lately, with some transfer speeds going as low as .6kbps and as high as 15kbps. Rebooting the router didn't fix, and neither did changing the micro filter and switching modem. Speed tests are out of the question because I just can't get to it. What could be doing this? My usage isn't shown to be Level 1, 2 or 3, so what's up?

Also, I got an e-mail about the "Broadband Your Way" deals. I'm on the £14.99 Broadband Plus Up to 8MB package at the moment. How can I switch to the BYW Option 2?

I've also noticed browsing speeds have changed - http downloads are OK

Average latency is 60ms, it was around 30ish...?

Slow speed and upgrades

Hi,

Looks like you're over the peak time usage for your account, details are available at:

http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/products/archive/bb_plus.shtml

Based on that you're probably best switching to BBYW Option 2 or 3, you can do that by clicking the Upgrade link at the top of the page.

Slow speed and upgrades

Surely the restrictions aren't harsh enough to cap peak-time download speeds at 5kbps? Because that's what I've been getting for a while now.

The point of the restrictions are to only allow e-mail and basic browsing- otherwise what's the point of having them?
