Due to an error with the discussion forums this morning they were unavailable to anyone for a period. This was raised to our development team and has been resolved.

All other portal services and the member centre were not affected.

Kind Regards

Thanks for the reply (via Service Status Email) at 9.48am.

And at 9.49am.

And at 9.55am.

And at 5.36pm.

Is that it or should I expect more?

You should see Daves earlier about the webstats:

Quote
Live webstats server showing fs errors and partition needs to be fsck'd going to remount all the user webstats read-only whilst I fsck so no impact should be seen apart from maybe a slow down of viewing the stats, need to do this asap to stop it affecting tomorrows stats.

Service Affected:- Webstats

Maintenance Window:- Now

Detailed description of work to be performed:- The webstats server is showing filesystem errors and the disks needs to be checked.

Expected Customer Impact:- We will remount all the user webstats read-only whilst we check the disk so no impact should be seen apart from maybe a slow down of viewing the stats, need to do this asap to stop it affecting tomorrows stats.

Hi,

The first is because we were getting an error message post to service status, the second is just me forgetting to remove my notes before posting.

fsck is a valid linux command - stands for File System ChecK - although I suspect whoever chose that had a sense of humour...
